I still have around 5 Wu's pending from July. All returned with success. Total credit pending is only 0.04 lol so i haven't worried about it but im shure it needs to be granted to clear up the old results obviously filling the database.

Don't feel too bad, I've got one hanging around from Feb 2006 also -- and one from Nov 2005 !! Indications were that I was last in on both units a day later than when a quorum was established, so I would expect the more proper answer would be to zero out these units, and clear the pending file. It won't trouble me if it doesn't happen, but if there are a number of similar "stuck pending units" out there, it might indicate a need to review the software program more closely ..... If I've lived this long, I've gotta be that old |

I also have one of those, although it is a bit more recent: Workunit 1587613 Maybe the server wasn't quite sober at that time?  Seriously: One thing is a bit odd, my result is reported as valid, but it took a shorter time (if you take the different hardware into account) and claimed less credits. Maybe a validator problem? I have a couple from April 2005! Do I win anything? But seriously... BOINC had a bug for a while relating to this problem. It was discovered over on seti and fixed long ago but the updated code hasn't been deployed on LHC yet. It may also take some manual fixing after the new code is put in place.
