I think statistics in BoincSinergy and BoincStats doesn't reflect the correct number of credits. Something similar occurred in nanohive project time ago and was caused by a change in the project's URL. Then someone (I supose the administrators of that project) informed the new URL to the admins of BoincStats. |

LHC actually isn't exporting stats. See this thread http://lhcathome.cern.ch/forum_thread.php?id=2276 I think new admins have also other priorities at the moment... we must have patience. |

STATS ARE NOT EXPORTED! READ THE F......ontpage of this site! Read the Forum before you bore us again with your presence! Sysfried |

Well, first of all thank sysfried for your "effusive" response. I only hope you don't treat all the people like you are treating me. I hope too, that the other people in this forum are not like you. Why? 1) Because I hope you don't think that people with a few credit cannot opinate. I think everyone can opinate and expose a potential problem to the project. If in this forum can only post the "gurus" and "grandmasters" I think is a bad forum. 2) Because I normally read the forums of a project before creating a thread but I don't have the suficient time to read it all. Can you asure me that you have read all the threads in the forum? 3) Yes, I have only 39 credits in this projects but my RAC is more than a thousand superior to you and I'm in boinc projects since 2001. With that I want to say you that I'm not a novice in BOINC. In summary, I think your position is very arrogant. |

sysfried was indeed a bit harsh. But we are overstelped with people asking about the stats problem without even trying to read the top 10 threads. And in this case its the '/stats/ empty' thread (although there are much much much much more) where you can find everyting about it |

Hi arogoli; Welcome to lhc. sorry We are tired of that question around here, lol, it's been 121 days now that the stats feature has been offline at this project there are over 200 threads about this, and an appology/explaination on the main page and in the faq, the short story is lhs is/has moved to a new location and the new project masters have many other problems to deal with as well, besides learning everything BOINC , everything lhc and trying to live normal lives as well. Lost of frustration in our fellow crunchers around here, sorry it got taken out on another 'newbie'. |

Well, first of all thank sysfried for your "effusive" response. Dear Aroigoli. First off, I want to apologize for my indeed very arrogant post. You state that you're with Boinc projects for a few years now and while you have a RAC higher than me, we have comparable total credits. I'd like to welcome you to the LHC project and gain some credits here, because this is a worthy project. But maybe you do agree with me that someone who doesn't have much credit and writes in his first post on a forum that stats are not exported while there are many threads here talking about this topic, should consider reading the frontpage news and forum threads first before asking for stats. I'd call this a "RTFM" Issue. Or in polite words: "your post was useless" . Can we agree on that? There are nice people around and I have to say that I was a bit upset this morning and next time, I won't check the forum until I get into a better mood so this won't happen again. To answer your three issues: 1. You can always ask, but if it's a topic that has been covered already, consider answering that specific thread rather than creating a new one. 2. Consider that a YES. LHC is the only forum where I've read ALL postings in the past years. Consider it a no for all the other projects I'm attached to. 3. I tried to use your total LHC credit and LHC posting count to state out that you're a LHC novice. Sincerely, Sysfried |

Appologies accepted Sysfried, I'm working in computer science too and I known what are you talking about. Never mind, I understand that admins (you are an admin, isn't you?) are very occupied and the next time will find better in the forum posts. Only one another thing, the FAQ link (http://lhcathome.cern.ch/FAQ.html) and Forum Rules link (http://lhcathome.cern.ch/forum_rules.html) are broken. Best regards. |

Only one another thing, the FAQ link (http://lhcathome.cern.ch/FAQ.html) is broken. That was reported twice already, but I won't complain because not only the link needs to be fixed, but also FAQ needs to be updated to state about the missing statistics, the host creation on each scheduler request and how to fix it, project doesn't have work regularly, etc... And it could be called a medium priority. I'm sure you tried to look in the FAQ before asking :) |

Appologies accepted Sysfried, Dear Aroigoli. No, I'm not an admin. At least not with the LHC project. :-) The FAQ would indeed help. I can't recall who it was, but we did have some kind of wiki for LHC... anyone remember that? Regards, Sysfried |

Do you mean Paul Buck's BOINC Wiki? It has moved to here: http://boinc-wiki.ath.cx/ It has some LHC-specific info, but the "Official FAQ" link is broken also (it points to the same one). Hope that helps a little. |

Only one another thing, the FAQ link (http://lhcathome.cern.ch/FAQ.html) and Forum Rules link (http://lhcathome.cern.ch/forum_rules.html) are broken. They are and they will be fixed when the service is moved to the UK, it does rate quite low on the things we have to do around here. Later days, Neasan |
