I just watched Lisa Randall on a program talking about extra dimensions (she is a theoretical physicist) and she talked about several things and a few times brought up LHC and talked about what she hopes for in the future projects.

Lisa Randall

Her newest book is a good one to read.

I´m reading the german version of this book, "Verborgene Universen". Very intersting.
Also good to read is "The Elegant Universe" by Brian Green. Also a TV-documentation.

Yes those Brian Green string theory programs were fun to watch on PBS here and I watch them over and over.

Glad you got to read the German version of Lisa Randalls book.

Funny thing about those two people is they both graduated in 1980 from Stuyvesant High School in New York City.

I would have loved being in that HS class!

(I am the class of 1976)

Funny how we got these boxes of processors that we can use to study and learn things that some pay lots of money for at places like Harvard and MIT,CIT........and of course even UC Berkeley
