Hi,

you modified the news section of the BOINC so it always shows a welcome message as first news item. This is quite a nice idea for the web page, but it is horrible with the RSS feed. Every day a new message is shown for the projects feed, therefore making the feed (and its read/unread state) just useless.
So could you please remove that welcome message from the news? If you still want to show it on the website, maybe just put it statically into the home page content.
