Hi,

I received this message from the server :

Sam 25 nov 09:13:43 2006|lhcathome|Message from server: (there was work for other platforms)

I guess this means that there's no work for my Apple and that's why I'm feeling uneasy.

If this continue I will abandon the project.

Anne

I sometimes tried to install some projects on my machine which hadn't a Mac app and I always got an error message,I don't remember what they were. Nothing of the kind happened with LHC ...

Anyway, I detached.

So, I'm waving you good bye ... :(

Hi Anne,

in case you want to stick around and wait for the project to write one.

OK, we know that is not going to happen here, but it might on another project, and BOINC is written to be relevant for many different projects.

Sorry we have wasted your time here, but it was good to meet you, and I for one know I will continue to enjoy your comapny over on Rosetta.

There is a list of the different projects, there supported platforms and requirements at the BOINC WIKI :
http://boinc-wiki.ath.cx/index.php?title=Choosing_a_BOINC_Powered_Project

In short, MacOS X is supported by the productive projects SETI, SIMAP, WCG, Rosetta, Predictor, Einstein and SZTAKI. This are all productive projects execpt LHC and CPDN and BBC CPDN...
And the alpha and beta projects SETI BETA, Leiden Classic, Docking@home (is searching for MacOS users !), and RALPH.
