I joined LHC@home on 8/18/06. On 9/20/06, "Sixtrack" finally attempted to assign work to my PC.
"Sixtrack" assigned 56 work units to me; none of which successfully downloaded. Now; my results page contains 56 "Client Error" messages, and I've not been assigned any work since! What gives? Does anyone know how to get work from LHC@home? I just want to help what I think is a worthy project!

The work units are currently being sent out on rare occasions; the situation might improve in the next few months when the LHC magnets are finally installed and scientists want to run a few more simulations based on 'real life' settings instead of an ideal circle model.

I don't think there's any efficient way to set up boinc settings to check the server more frequently.

In my opinion the best way to set up to get more LHC work is a higher resource share and a lower queue. Resource share at least double a normal project, but not more than 5 times a normal project. Queue not more than 0.4 days.
