I joined this project back in 2004 when the password option was not available. I last connected in 2005. I had an old email address on that account. That email address is no longer available so I can't have my account key mailed to it. I created this account with the same username as the old one. I tried to join my team and it said that I am already a member. I really don't want to start over with the credits and don't want to use a different username. Is there any way the admin can reset my older account with this new email address so I can start crunching again? PLEASE HELP!!!!!

If you still have Boinc on one of your hosts, then the account key for LHC can be found in the account_lhcathome.cern.ch.xml file as the authenticator.

First change the e-mail address of the new account to something you will not use. Log out, log in with the account key you could find, change the e-mail address of that account to the one you are using now.
That should fix the problem.

I don't have the folder anymore... I haven't run LHC in a while. I have reformatted my hard drive several times since then... Am I out of luck??
