Status of LHC Alpha?

When I looked at BOINCStats I noticed LHC-Alpha didn't update today and the server does not respond on the web or to BOINC. The thought occured to me the site has long since fulfilled its purpose and possibly there may no longer be a need for a public alpha site. My curious mind would like to know what has become of it. :) Trav

I made the same experience and want to know, if we can detach the LHC-Alpha-Account... Is LHC-Alpha dead ? greetz littleBouncer
