A function to allow automatic team transfer has been added to the latest version of the BOINC source.

This function was added to boinc server code long ago, late last year around October or November.

To the SysAdmin/Moderator or just a person with the nessecary power.
The team that I have joined has no founder as he passed away on the 16/8/05. I would like to take the team over with the hope of increasing it when I get the Web page thing sorted out. I have asked this of all the projects in the team as I participate in all of them. I am the only other member of the team.
So I am asking to be made the team Founder.
Team name is TeamAUS
Original founder is Craig Zuvich
My name is Conan
Country is Australia.

Can you please make me the Founder of TeamAUS.

As this project is back on the go I would like to see if this matter I asked about over 70 days ago could be seen to.
As stated above I would very much like to made the founder of this team. I am the only active member since the founder passed away (16/8/05).

Whilst you are working on the database, web page and such could you also have a look at this 200+ day old request of mine please.
I am still looking at being this teams founder as I am still the only active member (the only member seeing as the Founder passed away).

Just wondering how you are going with this Neasan? Your response on the 28/6/07 was that you were looking into it a bit further, so how goes it?
I know you have been busy but just curious how things are progressing.

Admins: Oh come on. I'm sure you have access to the database, what's so hard about it? It doesn't matter how many thousand things you have on your to-do list, it takes less than a minute to do:

UPDATE teams SET userid=54032 WHERE id=696;

54032 is Conan and 696 is TeamAUS.

G'Day LHC@home management team,
It has taken well over a year but thanks to the new management team, who seem to actually care about us volunteers, I am now the founder of my team.

A BIG THANKYOU Alex and also Neasan, for finally getting this sorted for me.

Now you just have to fixed up Krunchin Keith and that will then get two of us off your back.

Can you please make me the founder of "SETI.Germany"?
Unable to contact the original founder (Olli - Ore Mountains). He was last seen on BOINC over 10 month ago. Unfortunately LHC@home has not the "initiate transfer"-Button, so we have to ask.
So I need to be changed to the founder of our team by you.

It appears you now have 3 teams needing a team founder change.

Why not knock all these off your to do list at one time.

If you ever get around to the update, this feature is included that we, team members, can request a transfer to be team founder, which is handled automatically by the server thus freeing you to concentrate on other matters.

To help here is what I've seen, I included user ids and team ids if this helps you.

Krunchin-Keith [USA] user id# 289 for team USA id# 26
Yank user id# 23101 for team US Navy id# 143
Major user id# 34513 for team SETI.Germany team id# 42

Please, oh please help my team get its cohesion back.
My team has a leader that has been missing since 17 Sep 2005.
My new BOINC wide team leader wishes to take over and raise our awareness of the wonderful project that LHC@HOME is.

May we please have a response to some of these requests? ? ?
