Hello, I dont know why but LHC@Home is my only BOINC project with this trouble, look this capture of my CPU activity: What is the problem ??? What can I do please :( |

I'm not sure there is a problem. LHC writes checkpoint data every so often, and while it does so it's waiting on Windows to write the data to the disk. This might account for what you see. Gaspode the UnDressed http://www.littlevale.co.uk |

Hello, You have a disk problem or misconfiguration. Check it (DNA access, Raid pb, full disk ..) and repost your result with your OS/memory/Disk config etc |

If you are using XP check your power options, specifically check that your hard disk is not turned off. |

I'd agree with MikeW. There's nothing wrong with letting your hard drive turn off. It helps the drive run cooler. I'm not the LHC Alex. Just a number cruncher like everyone else here. |
