On several occasions now when the screensaver happens to be running, if I interrupt it to check an incoming email my system freezes. I get a message eventually that the system is not responding and I send a message to microsoft to report the error. Consequently, I lose the the entire WU that was running (whether 3 hours or less). Can this screensaver bug be fixed?

The 5.4.9 version of the client will kill the screensaver without causing the problems with the OS. There is still a high probablity of losing the workunit but it is much easier to live with.
