If you can wade through all the arguing and general mayhem, have a look at this thread...

And with the greedy people using large caches, you will be lucky to get any work. They like to steal all the fun from the rest of us. I did not even get one wu out of the latest batch

I'm not new and haven't recieved any work from LHC the last two times.

I do get Einsteins all the time with no problem (I only run LHC and Einstein)

I am using 3 pc's that are all on 24/7 one on a cable connection and the other two on a satellite isp.

I know how boinc works and it is all set up properly.

Yet for what ever reason I have not been getting any work here.

So if you new people have it all set up correctly you may still recieve nothing from the LHC server.

Hi everyone! I joined LHC in June and have 133.56 credits and 19.46 average credits. My sig doesn't show LHC so I checked out my account and found that I mis-spelled my email address in my preferences. When I try to edit my email address I am told that the email with the correct spelling is already in use. To my knowlage I do not have two accounts. Any ideas?
Thanks very much!
Peter

Peter, Boincstats.com only shows ONE Peter Gerling. He's only been attached to LHC. Has 134 credits and a rac of 13.

His boincstats signature looks like this:

Thanks very much for your reply mmciastro. I am actually attached to four projects. Any advice? <edit> Perhaps I have two boinc accounts??

Thank you Ziran for your suggestion. I will try that also.

The single unique thing that is necessary for project coordination is your email address. I suspect your email address for LHC is different than it is for the others. You can check this by going to "your account" on all projects. I suspect you have two LHC accounts (two different email addys), but have only attached under one of them. If you do have two accounts, there is no way to merge them, so you'll probably have to abandon the "peter gerling" account at LHC, Detach from LHC, then reattach using the "other" email addy (the one that matches the other projects). I know this isn't great news, but there it is.

Thanks again Tony. At the time of my original posting I found that my email address was mispelled. All projects now have the correct email address.

Hey Tony,
I took your advice and detached from LHC and then reattached to LHC. Got 5 WU's yesterday and now my stats show all four projects.
Thanks very much!
Peter

You cannot merge two accounts in the same project, but the separate projects can be successfully "merged" by setting the email addresses the same.
