Is there any need to be so rude about this? The admins do what is needed when it is needed. There may not even be a problem, or the problem may be with you or your machines. I'd like to look at your results and see if I can offer a suggestion, but your computers are hidden. Please unhide them, and we'll see what we can find out.

I don't think there is a problem.
You are posting a RAC of 1,046 and a pending credit queue of 5,499.10. that is only about 5 days worth.
It just means that the other people that got the same work units are not able to work through them as quick as you are, i.e you are waiting on a quorm.

Because the deadline on workunits is about 10 to 14 days (I think, not sure) you can see where the delay is.

This is really not something to worry about though, as they will validate eventually, might just take a couple of days.

I think they dropped the deadline down to a few days near the end of the last batch.
I also have two WU's pending, finished OK, all the other results have been processed and I was going to post a similar request, with more detail ;-)

Not all, from the (very small sample) I saw. But what's shown as "pending" includes all WUs sent back within the time limit.

Anyway, when I send back a WU, I've noticed it gets taken into account within seconds.

However, isn't it Contributing To Scientific Knowledge that counts, rather than trying to get into the high score Hall of fame? Not cricket, old boy. Definitely not cricket.

There's something going on with this host. Almost every result is listed as pending, buit there's no obvious reason why. All the other machines look pretty normal to me.

It is possible that the database crash affected this particular machine's records.

Maybe you could detach it and reattach it, and see if the machine continues to return results like this. If not, it's a DB problem and the admins need to look at it. If it does then the problem is with the machine. Either way, it seems unlikely that the pending credit will be granted now.

Oops! Your link leads to to Microsoft's US homepage. Let's remove the extraneous quotes from the BBcode (not to be confused with chteumeuleuh):
There's something going on with this host

Yup, you got it in one. Maybe if this could be sorted out, the next batch of WUs could be unleashed on an eager public? Especially when you start saying things like "Ah, only 151 to go" and your children start surreptiously looking up the phone number of the nearest looney doctor...

Oh I hate BBcode!

The affected host is http://lhcathome.cern.ch/show_host_detail.php?hostid=80964 which can be seen here, and its results can be seen here!

I wonder if the problem has any connection with the fact that no new work is being issued, but the number of WU out in the wild is going up. Double-edged bug?
