Hello,

Here is a link to the "zero status no 'finished' file" page (at the new location) of Paul D Buck's Wiki: (The page has an explanation of, and instructions for fixing, this problem.)

I would follow the suggestions on the wiki. If after reboot and disk check problem isn't fixed: uninstall/reinstall BOINC and attach projects. (it sounds as if it's boinc, or the computer since there are errors on more than one project).

But those are my thoughts; the Wiki should be the first place you look for a solution (rather than my opinions). :)

This part of your original question didn't get addressed. The BOINC message boards are set up as if they were a separate project. Near the top of this page, it says "Posting to these boards requires creating an account." Set up an account there for yourself, and you'll be able to post.

BOINC Wiki Thanks to Paul D. Buck and associates

have just found this on cpdn message board

* Windows 'time sync' messages have been mentioned recently as causing 'process exited with zero status' crashes. Although these are relatively benign, it may be worth trying to reduce their frequency.

have disabled it now and will see how it goes
