Well I come by more often to read the forums, but i only answer if i feel i have something important to say. I also do not answer questions if they have already been answered before but the person asking was too lazy to look through the forum.

Well, there is only so much work that has to be done. I try to keep pushing the scientist to tell me when and how much work they are going to do. You can be sure that as soon as i know something i will let you know.

cheers

I hope you get more insight in how it will be.
Especially on some more regular work.

But will there be any scientist that are going too tell us a bit more.
You are maybe a scientist, but not directley for a specific project else then the great LHC@home.

DPAD: http://stephenbrooks.org/muon1/ for example is very active, also a canon.
But not yet being build.

and if Chrulle loses his battle with the database over those lost results, we will have work all the sooner when the lost results pass the deadlines -- none of us will enjoy getting work that way but it may have to be done again :(

8 hours later:

Server Status

Up, 148897 workunits to crunch
73716 workunits in progress
44 concurrent connections

The work is growing faster than we are taking it away :-)

I had wondered when the work first came on whether it was just some deadline-expired WU from the last batch. Now we have more WU available than there were in progress I am reassured that they must be new work.
