BOINC reported my results last week and picked up more work and they deadline was 1/22/06 and today is 1/23/06. My computer has been crunching only LHC work units since it received them. As of today, I have 28 units left. It gave me less than a week to complete a ridiculous amount of work. Will I still get credit? If not, i'm going to detach.

This project needs shorter deadlines (7 days) for the science. A general guidline for determining maximum queue size is 40% of the shortest deadline divided by the number of projects.

I did have it set for connect every 10 days which might explain why it downloaded so much and missed the deadline. I've changed it to every 1/2 day.

Well, it might be an isolated problem. I have it at 1/2 and 1/2 between seti and LHC but for this it downloaded a massive amount for LHC. My other 2 computers have dealt with it alright and have cleared the queues 2 times already. They've started on the 3rd set in conjunction with SETI.

If they aren't going to count, I should post to BOINC that it would be nice if they auto-cleared from the queue. I'd hate to have to re-attach projects too often if this continues.
