Anyone else recieving WU's whare the others are not issued so you can not get credit for them?

I know that they will eventually get issued and credit when the others run, had some before whare I had to wait up to 2 weeks for the 2nd and 3rd to be issued, then crunched and credit issued. The bright side if you stop crunching for LHC it keeps the RAC up longer.

WU woct1_v6s4hvnom_mqx-oct1__1__64.236_59.246__10_12__6__15_1_sixvf_boinc2503

WU wjan1A_v6s4hvnom_mqx_nc__5__64.254_59.264__4_6__6__45_1_sixvf_boinc63386

At least these are the exceptions, not the norm for the project. If you check and there are more than one look at the issue dates.

Of course they can get results to a few more WU's in a day by doing this, but not valadated.

Cheers
Ray

Yeah, tell me about it.

Ive had about 1200 credits since the work restarted, and about 800 still pendiong, and the amount in the pending pile is still rising.

Still, as you say we will get it all in the long run, and it will give the RAC a welcome boost at the end of this patch of work when all the tail ends come in together, and that in turn keeps the RAC up in those long LHC gaps between patches of work.

I regard it as just another quirk of this project - it happened in the patch of work before Christmas too.

This is the special LHC way of distributing workunits.
I'm sure it will not take weeks until the WU is send to another host, maybe some days.

There is a benefit to the project in issuing results this way. The number of results required for a forum is three, but the maximum number if results to be issued is five. If the later results are delayed then a quorum may be formed before the fourth and fifth results are issued, reducing the amount of work needed overall.

It does mean that credit can sometimes be slower in coming, but since you can't eat credit or pay rent with it that hardly matters.

You mean that the owner of my house is doing it wrong by taking my credits for rent?

No - it means you are doing something right. Who is your landlord? Can I rent from him too?

No, I only accept credits for rent from myself.
