Not sure I saw whining ...

What I would suggest is follow the reading plan suggested in the wiki for new users.

Most importantly, look at the BOINC Application Owner's Manual where the basics of the BOINC Manager are explained. Hopefully in 101 language ... :)

Also, for each new term, read the definition. I know this is a lot of reading. But, seriously, 99.99% of the questions are actually in there.

Also hit the FAQ.

Tell Paul what you don't like ... :)
