If your host is getting corrupted write here what version of the boinc client you are using, and when you connected last. Are all your hosts getting corrupted?

Mine is also showing strange things for CPU and OS now. The last updates were:

10/24/2005 9:02:42 PM|LHC@home|Sending scheduler request to http://lhcathome-sched1.cern.ch/scheduler/cgi
10/24/2005 9:02:42 PM|LHC@home|Requesting 0 seconds of work, returning 2 results
10/24/2005 9:02:47 PM|LHC@home|Scheduler request to http://lhcathome-sched1.cern.ch/scheduler/cgi succeeded

and I'm in US Central TZ. I only have one host (22820) reporting and it is using 4.45 because I was waiting for all of my projects to get updated.

Thanks!

Hi Chrulle,

This host is corrupted.

BOINC 4.72

Last contact was 10/25 4:16 GMT; a normal DL of work.

My other host hasn't run lhc for some months, so it's not corrupt.

All my host entries were corrupted, but it seems, that a simpley "update project" fixed it (BOINC 4.72).

Yep. Host location was gone. Reset to correct venue (home, school, work) and all came good.

Same here.....reset host location.
Then updated and it cleared it.

Problem is many of my machines are across town or completely out of state.

Is it possible to do a remote update ?

My host 63999 contacted several times during the 24 Oct. And there was generated 3 "fantom" hosts instead of 63999. There are:
67901
67912
67887

as far as I know changing preferences/location in the host-properties should force the computer to update it's local settings the next time it contacts the server to upload/download/report results.
I changed the location on some of my hosts at home from the office, will know if that works out soon.

I updated as suggested & corruption was fixed, as others have reported.

However after the next WU finished at 13:42, and result was updated, the corruption returned. See #39757.

Sorry, I did not check to see if the corruption happened after the upload, or after the manual update.

This time I will leave in corrupt state if that is helpful to the team.

Ken

all updates for these hosts are automatic download/upload/report result contacts.
all hosts are currently on BOINC 4.72
