I have the same probleme! Our account had an account key but not a password!
If I use my key like a password, the next step tell me:
Required wizard file(s) are missing from the target server.
(lookup_account.php/create_account.php)

So, I can't run a LHC projet... :(

I don't think it can use anything after Boinc 4.45 right now, as I understand it.

Absolutely right - the LHC@Home server does not support V5.x.x clients yet. Work is in hand to update it, so it shouldn't be long.

The highest client version supported is 4.72 (if you have it) or 4.45 from the download sites.

Either downgrade to BOINC 4.45, or just wait. LHC@Home will not accept connections from Version 5.x.x clients at present. Work is in hand to update the server, but it will be a few days yet.

Try posting in the Number Crunching forum, more people read it. This topic really belongs there anyway. If you haven't already, try the Boinc Wiki
