Greetings,

Well I was surfing the web to learn more about the LHC and CERN and I found out that on the CERN website nothing was said about lhc@home.

Even worse was that they were offering a "cool" screensaver that didn't even "wow" me instead of also suggesting to help science make new discoveries by helping with the lhc screensaver.

So is it me or is there a certain lack of information given to the public ?

Well you could take a look at the frontpage of the web site and find a link to:

http://athome.web.cern.ch/athome/

Well I must be really bad at this because I can't find it on the frontpage.

I'm talking about http://public.web.cern.ch/Public/Welcome.html of course.

But maybe I'm the exception :)

Hello !

It might not be news to you, but the people behind lhc@home are scientists and techy geeks, by definition without great communication skills ;-)

This might change with the GEANT work, as more people will join and be interested in lhc@home, the communication need will be answered by someone in charge of communication !
