BOINC client does NOT download executables for projects!!!

the transfer of sixtrack_4.67_windows_intelx86.exe stops at 93,82%. All the transfers of the other files and workunits finish, but the .exe file never comes to my PC. i tried to reset the project or to detach and join again, but the same again..... not only for LHC but for other projects. (einstein, climateprediction) SETI works.... I use BOINC version 4.45, but i tried many diferent versions and the result is the same!! any ideas??? Vangelis |

Then there are firewall programs which prevent certain programs from accessing the net. I'm not the LHC Alex. Just a number cruncher like everyone else here. |

Then there are firewall programs which prevent certain programs from accessing the net. </blockquote> it's the same in both computers, work & home (cable & dialup).... also i disabled norton antivirus but..... and i don't have a firewall.... the climateprediction .exe file was finaly downloaded after 5 days. but not the one for LHC.... vangelis |

Do a project reset. It will remove the sixtrack program and all associated workunits and download everything anew.

If you are having this same problem with every project you are running under boinc, you might have to uninstall boinc and reinstall it. There could be some sort of corruption somewhere on your system. |
