Why does LHC@Home asks for some GB HDspace?

When I installed LHC@Home a few days ago, it asked for 9GB HD-space. Since i had only 3,6GB available on my program-partition I had to install it on an other partition. And now I see, that it used only 16MB. What is going on there? |

This probably has to do with the memory settings you set for your computer. Could you go to your account/General preferences and copy your "Disk and memory usage" info for us? |
