my question is- with two host one with 32 credits(rac)and one with 16
credits(rac). why would my total (rac) be only 28 creids

This *IS* explained in the Wiki ... look up RAC ...

THe long and the short of it is that you cannot just add RAC numbers ... there is a TIME component that gives rise to the difference.

One comparison is the speedometer vs. odometer, and in this case the numbers are for TWO cars ... you cannot just randomly add the values and get meaningful answers. Read up on the RAC and come back if it does not makes sense.

hi a person should not be haindicaped for
having two comps. on one account, by having a smaller rac than the
larger rac of the two comps. because , if I only had the one comp. I
would have the full rac so yes I don't understand.

If you look on one of the 3rd party stats sites which decay the RAC for display. You should find that your total RAC is higher than any of your individual host's RAC. It's the time component confusing you. The total is adjusted more often than the individual so it is closer to what it should be. However since the project sites generally only update RAC when a credit event occurs it is never truly accurate.
