Perhaps some new projects have 'account creation' opened. -just kidding-

I think: it is the good work from the LHC-team which caused this situation without problem.
THX for the good job!

BTW: I'm glad to work for LHC, even there are always 'hickups' after new studies in the database (this up and down of RAC and pending credits, even you run 'full steam')

Sure, me too but I would be thousand times more glad if we get some scientific output from the work that is done ...

Handled a bit more like THIS PROJECT would be ingenious!!

I agree
Maybe LHC needs some volunteers (free workers) to realize an output like Stephen Brooks!!!

If I would have the special knowledge (in the moment I plenty of time) I would do but I know that my programming capabilities are too poor and the scientifics are still at a very low level :-(. What a pity!

Damn, I wish that the deadline hadn't changed from 14 days to 8 days. With BOINC going into EDF mode when the earliest deadline is less than 50% of the deadline I can't properly get enough work to last the 'normal' imposed weekend connection outage on my work laptop. Bugger.

Well, one of the reasons for the quiet was that I am *WAY* off my feed ... or maybe that is an effect and not the cause? ... :)

The link is interesting and it is a shame there is no BOINC version ... also, I can't quite figure out where the explanation starts for any of it ...

Waiter?! One double of the biggest hamburgers you have, two buckets of lettuce plus a bucket of fries. Put it on his table over there, so he has some feed. ;)

Erm, related to BOINC he said that there is no need because all runs fine.
Probably this project is part of his PhD and a change to BOINC would be too time consuming and/or counterproductive.

That's very easy. There's a file named user.txt (if you start from scratch just create it). Its only function is to contain the user name :) ... just write in the name you want and the next time you upload the results.txt your account will be created ... if you join a team then add the team id in the user.txt and tell Stephen in the forum that he should merge you 'OldAccount' with your 'NewAccount' with the team id (there is still a special thread). You can also just start the muon1.exe. If the program doesn't find a user.txt file it will prompt for you account name and will create the user.txt for you.

For New Users Q&A just look at the so called forum or the other forums:
