I first start running Einstein@Home in June and everything was fine until I also started running LHC@Home in late July. Then I started getting "Applications Errors" such as "Einstien [or LHC]4.79-Windows-intelix86exe. The instructions at 0xG939eta4 referenced memory 0x0000001b4. The memory could not be "read". Click OK to terminate the program." The "messages" would read similar to "8/8/2005 7:18:21 PM|Einstein@Home|Unrecoverable error for result l1_0972.0__0972.1_0.1_T12_S4lA_2 ( - exit code 99 (0x63))". Sometimes the computer locked up and I had to do a cold shut down. So I detached the LHC project and ran Einstein by itself for 48 hours. Everything went just fine. Then I suspended Eintein, reattached LHC and ran LHC for 48 hours. Everything went just fine. Then I ran both Einstein and LHC and started getting the same type of application error messages for both LHC and Einstein and computer lock ups (See above.) Any suggestions? |

what version of BOINC? What OS? Have you tried running any apps that would test your memory? (ie memtest86+) I am running Einstein and LHC on 3 of my machines with no problems. Let's hope we can find a solution to your problem. <blockquote>I first start running Einstein@Home in June and everything was fine until I also started running LHC@Home in late July.
