The green is at least better than the yellow of the stat graphs in BOINC GUI. Sorry Fuzzy, i agree with little helper. Green – Go. Keep crunchin’ Red – Stop. Unless project disregards deadlines you have taken too long on this wu and it will be invalid.
Well, again, I wouldn't have any ideas, as I'm never even close to the deadlines! Runnin a couple PII’s that I must keep careful eye on. Keep waiting for the magic blue smoke to escape from these relics...but so far they keep spinning. Very soon the problem will take care of itself and they will not be able to run BOINC projects. I can can put them beside the 486 and play triple tetris! |

Might be useful for Chrulle, a test thread I made on Break the forums forums, so you can see what the different greens do on lighter grey and darker grey backgrounds.
If you have a good look at this link you will see how much easier it is to read many of the different green shades when the background is lighter. If you look at the dark background of the computer results list and compare the readability of the titles on a lighter background compared with the results themselves you get the same message. Yes, the titles are in bold and that helps but there is also a benefit from the lighter background. If the results list itself could have an even lighter background that that of the titles then I think basically any green shade would be more readable and soothing on the eyes than peering into the murk of the current dark background. Just a personal opinion, of course. Cheers, Gary. |

The ultimate answer is: Keep your cache low! My Connect to is as low as 0.1 day and I run 3 projects, so I never have more than 2 WU's from each project in my cache! Most of the times only 1 from each project. "I'm trying to maintain a shred of dignity in this world" - Me |

My stats only show that I've crunched 3 workunits but I know I've done more. Do they get purged from the results page every month....only my August WUs are showing. I'd like to have the total number back (I don't mind not being able to see the precise information for each WU) www.chris-kent.co.uk aka Chief.com |

But total will be kept. |

Clark, The credit scores will stay through thick and thin (though CPDN had some interesting moements for a little bit). However, the actual values for each work unit are NOT kept. The work unit and result information is not maintained when the material has been moved to the off-line science database. If you want a separate total of the acutal numbers of work units you will have to track that on your own ... |

Yeah, I understand that. It was just when I went to my accounts page it said results 3 but now it says view with the link to the results page. Just checking to make sure it wasn't a database problem. Wanted to make sure everything was hunky-dory as I have waited ages before being able to sign up. With regard to the green on the results page, I find it a bit hard to read. Something like the colour used in my sig is readable. The hex value is 339900 www.chris-kent.co.uk aka Chief.com |
