Can anyone tell me what is going here? I am Host 39239.

Maybe I don't understand how credit is granted. I read the FAQ http://lhcathome.cern.ch/FAQ.html#2.5. I can't decide if this is saying that my computer must be returning faulty results. I don't seem to have any problems with Einstein, CPDN, SETI, or Predictor.

Thanks.

Looks to me like this host is not validating against the other returned results (doh....that's what you said). LHC are at least nice in giving you half of the granted credit. The other projects would give you 0.

Do you OC your machine? If so back it off a little. There use to to be a problem with very slightly different returned results between AMD and Intel machines but they overcame that. LHC is very sensitive to very slightly different results whereas the other project are not. You may have a slightly faulty processor. Basically I have no idea why, I'm just throwing a few ideas out there.

Live long and crunch.

I've been running a 9% overclock on an Athlon64. As I said, this seemed to be fine with the other projects, but I guess LHC is more sensitive. I'll drop it back to 5% and see what happens. Thanks.

Start the other way.......go to zero OC and see if it works, then started cranking it back up.

I gotta agree with you, J2satx -- if it won't work at 100% speed, there may be other problems ...
