Is there currently a problem with how work units are attributed to crunchers? After a period of outage at lhc last night I suddenly have about 20 work units on my account that were never downloaded by the client. Maybe related, there also seems to be an issue with the calculation of credits. Work unit 358773 and 357447 have been validated and assigned less than 0.15 while all clients claimed much more. Thanks for looking into this. |

This can happen if there are no results that agree on a canonical result. A weigthed average of credit is then assigned depending on how much the results differ. Chrulle Research Assistant & Ex-LHC@home developer Niels Bohr Institute |

Sorry about the noise about credit calculation. I misread the processing time column for the credit column for these two results. Processing time was right in the middle of my usual claimed credit range. Doh! The mystery about the work units that never ended up on my machine remains, though. |
