The work was only enough for 17 minutes or so.
But i think this was (hopefully) not the "big work" that has been promised.

I think they are running short test jobs through, which explains the miniscule number of jobs that sporadically pop up. Either that, or they're cleaning up old jobs that didn't complete for whatever reason, so they can get the results off everyone's accounts and the server.

I would think 30,000 1-million turn jobs would take at least an hour or so to get sucked up. :-)

I also got some :)

30,000 jobs for 6000 Users...they really have to produce more if they want to go public.

The ones I've been getting today are in the 3 1/2 to 4 hour range for my HT Computers running 2 at a time. So they've increased in length the last few days from 20 to 30 min's ... And all the WU's I've been getting are fairly new ones not reruns ... :)

All in the last 5 min and all after the 'Out of work' sign

I'm guessing the reason the front page isn't updating is it has not been linked to the new scheduler program and I believe we are in the 1st 30k 1m turns Marrku talked about. Boinc 4.44 is starting to work as advertised (cough cough) and is reloading new work as required and server is still giving. I wonder if there will be any breaks in the total 1m run

:( ... only 10,000 for me ... :( ... :P

Something I've noticed with the new WU's is that they seem to like to hang a lot upon completion on all my computers, they just sit there saying 100% done & wont Upload & or Report. I have to stop & restart the client a lot to get them to Upload & Report & then start the next WU ... ???

I've got 1 right now that just refuses to completely finish & upload even though I've restarted it 4 times already, each time I restart it it resets to 2:28 min to go and then when it gets done it just sits there doing nothing ...

What BOINC CC are you using? I still use the last useable BOINC CC 4.19 and have no problems here.

How long are you letting them sit? I've seen the progress bar sit on 100% for pretty much all of the projects, while it "finishes up". Basically, the calculation of a progress bar is not perfect, and they all usually sit on the end for a few minutes, since they are not truly done. By interrupting and restarting them, you may be restarting that last few minutes of work.

First off I'm using v4.44 on all my Computers, it has a lot of features I like & sooner or later everybody's going to have to go to the new versions...

I've let them sit there for 10-15 minutes, usually when these LHC WU's get to 100% they report immediately. This getting to 100% & sitting there for a long period of time has been a on going problem with certain LHC WU's since the Project began. When the Project first started out it was nothing for a WU to sit at 100% for hours on end & you would either have to restart the Client or just abort the WU.

If a WU sits there for more than a few minutes after it gets to 100% then something is wrong with either the WU or the BOINC Client. It simply is not the normal behavior for a WU to just sit at 100% for 10 or 15 minutes or even longer with no completion of the WU IMO ...

ha! it happend to (at least) one of my clients too!

(4.44)
was letting the client running, the boincmanager was started looked like this

cool!

The "frozzen", already started gui was letting opening menus changing tabs and so on, the message windows had the last entry, from now, over 17 Hours ago.
01:14 xy was the last Message written.

not sure if it belongs to the same like pb and others are reporting, in the case of this host, it looks like "only" the gui, the boincmanager was "frozzen" but the
crunching parts did the job well.

Not quite sure about that, cause for that, they have a very, very long and stoney way to go. As the client is right now it is like an usual pre alpha toy. It has many interesting, though absolute useless and unfunctional, options to play with, but none of them works somehow barely near to production quality.
