> Thank You Alex for the <B>VERY</B> informative links... > No problemo. This long weekend, I discovered how to listen to podcasts. Something I found was 'Berkeley Groks' http://www.ocf.berkeley.edu/~clgroks/ A recent show had Michael Peskin, SLAC discuss Particle Accellerators. (May 11) Ok, this guy also discusses LHC at Cern. http://ia201134.eu.archive.org/hda6/audio/groks166/Groks051105_64kb.mp3 Physicist comes on at ~30% into the show to discuss particle accellerators, string theory and superstring theory. The mp3 archive has a lot of science shows about string theory, big bangs, 'elegant theories' etc. http://www.ocf.berkeley.edu/%7eclgroks/305to105.html Archives of note are "03/16/2005--Sir Roger Penrose from Oxford University discussed twister theory and quantum consciousness. " "03/02/2005--Prof. Brian Greene from Columbia University discussed the elegant universe." - snipped text from archive page- |
