Just got some new WU's without any download-error!

So far good job CERN-team!!!

(the only worse thing is: my top-host in RAC-ranking(6th) has disappeared and the counter has resetted at 0, also my team was in the 'neverlands' ;(edit)it came back on 22nd spot..;-(...)

Also it seems that only s16_ and s18_ are 'critcal' WU's , with very short running-time.
(same reason as Chrulle has posted once)

only two s16_ - results were returned with 0 CPU time.(from about 25 s16_-results)
(@ Paul , I saw your explain. on the other thread!)

all other s(number)_ do not vari as much as the 'boince''s did!
all have about the same runtime (for me between 50 - 65 minutes)

BTW: 'critical WU' don't mean; that you abort it! They are fast finished but important for science!

Sounds like a GOOD correlation to how Seti "Classic" used to have HIGH Angle Range and LOW Angle Range Work Units. While BOTH were important to the science, one is better to get faster stat increases with.... ;)

That doesn't matter in a BOINC project though. You still get roughly the same credit if you do 100 short units a day or 1 long unit a day.

==========

Your right JKeck, it comes out to about the same with the Longer or the Shorter one's ... But at least with the Shorter ones I seem to be at least getting the Credit where as with the Longer ones it's strictly a toss up if any credit at all will be granted ...

I just went through a lot of my PC's and looked at the waiting longer ones I had on them & I know already that between 40% - 50% of them will return no credit already because they have already been Validated at 0 Credit by 3 or 4 people ... Quite a dismal credit return rate for the longer ones I would say ...

Thats the main reason why right now my RAC is just sputtering along and going no where because of all the 0 Credit returns with the Longer ones ... 1 of the PC's I checked that takes 24 hour's to crunch 4 of the longer ones had 3 of the last 4 Validated at 0 Credit ... They were all Valid WU's too ...
