> As a side note & I've brought this up before also, why is there still (Not > counting the over 150 that are Requesting Credit) 224 Pending WU's in my > Account that show 0:00 Credit Requested. And every one of them that I looked Good question. I'll investigate this sooner or later... Markku Degerholm LHC@home admin ========== Thanks Markku, I would appreciate it very much if something was done with all the 0:00 Pending WU's I have 1 way or the other ... :) |

Taking a look to the pendings..... If only it would be true! The use of quantum-mechanics based file transport technology helped much. edit: thats the fat boy Result ID 924278 claimes 159,965.85 look here |

> Crime doesn't pay! please calme down and start to see the facts the right way. 2,809.73 thats the elapsed time done by the host. Very regular. It's one of my hosts, a 3.0 GHz Intel and there is nothing bad with this host. 1438 and 1243 are the now reported values by the client benchmark The only thing is, I installed 4.35 Boinc client, an alpha release. After starting the 4.35 client, he was doing the benchmark and started DL together, what he should not do this way. Finaly got several "computation errors" and had to reset the client. Now waiting for tomorow, for getting a new daily quota.:( If there is a brocken database entry, so thats might something for the DB team. >something must be wrong with his benchmarks, thats right, something went wrong while using the 4.35 client. > or is he a cheater? why this stupidity was written? don't watch tomuch bad tv... everything happens because it can happen. when using alpha or prereleased versions of boinc, it can happen even more. better learn basics of boinc and you will learn, this is not seti@classic anymore. Boinc is a welldone plattform with several security items/layers included. Read forums and the common feedback will be, not possible. Just using the accumulated power of 21 privat hosts :-) unfortunately, due the deep daily quota, not all are up and running |

I see from the database that the client has reported 144 Tera-FLOPS and 120 Tera-IOPS as benchmark values which are not bad at all for a mere PC:) Markku Degerholm LHC@home admin |

Markku, I think you need to go give the Validator a Good Swift Kick in the Rear End ... ;) The stats in my Account or on the stats pages have not moved in the last 10 hours...Every thing I have turned in during that period has just gone into the Pending Bin... |

Poorboy my guess is as they are trying to clean up database and had to recover from as Markku put it the 1st database crash the new server has had.... that the validator is probably shut down as the same as you happenning to me ie everthing shooting into pending.... the validator also seemed shut down earlier this am. but recovered , validated everything validateable ,and then was shut down or went down again. |

Ya I know, I was just letting them know in case they were not aware of the Validator problem ... |

There was some weird error with the database, preventing validator doing its job. The error should be now fixed and the validation of all unvalidated results is currently in progress, at least I think so. It seems that even during the database misery database updates were done successfully so no data (result) loss happened. If you disagree, please report here. Markku Degerholm LHC@home admin |
