Since Sunday afternoon 17:00 UTC there is following message:

03.04.2005 17:08:39|LHC@home|Sending request to scheduler: http://lhcathome-sched1.cern.ch/scheduler/cgi
03.04.2005 17:08:40|LHC@home|Scheduler RPC to http://lhcathome-sched1.cern.ch/scheduler/cgi succeeded
03.04.2005 17:08:40|LHC@home|Message from server: Project is temporarily shut down for maintenance
03.04.2005 17:08:40|LHC@home|Project is down
03.04.2005 17:08:40|LHC@home|Deferring communication with project for 35 minutes and 45 seconds

and why it is stated 'server up' on the frontpage.
(That is the way they (CERN-team) are treating the community (like idiots) in contradistinction to PAH; which is real 'userfriendly'!)

Maybe it's due to this:

1.4.2005 10:20 UTC
We are setting up the alpha project on the new server, to test out new clients. Hopefully this will not impact the server too much but some irregularities may occur.

Nevertheless, they should have let us know. Bad news is better than being left in the dark with no news at all...

What is the error message?

I have tried restarting the project, because we had some trouble with the shared memory getting shared with the alpha project also.

Let me now if this helps.

I was able to report my units, and now I have received two more today. These two seem to be of the long ones

Anyway, they will have to wait their turn, I just let BOINC CC to handle everything
