I just got 2 v64boince6 WUs without a new client. It seems that they decided to give out some more work before upgrading the client.

It is quite curious but see what happened with the new units received today:

21/03/2005 18:31:41|climateprediction.net|Pausing result 2pem_100147514_1 (removed from memory)
21/03/2005 18:31:41|LHC@home|Starting result v64boince6ib1-10s12_14675_1_sixvf_20385_2 using sixtrack version 4.64
21/03/2005 18:31:44|climateprediction.net|Restarting result 2pem_100147514_1 using hadsm3 version 4.04
21/03/2005 18:31:44|LHC@home|Pausing result v64boince6ib1-10s12_14675_1_sixvf_20385_2 (removed from memory)

As you may see, the unit started at 18:31:41 and it was paused at 18:31:44

This to me just looks real strange!! It has not gone back to the unit, and it is neither in CPDN now - crunching E@H.

I've seen this before, especially after a projects has been down for a while and you run out of WU. Boinc needs to figure out how to reallocate the time slices. It should start sorting things out properly after a few hours.

Bruno,

Your signature says that "Help us increase this number: 3.44" and yet when I click on the link, well, since the opening page does not have a similar plea it is kind of hard to figure out why I might want to help out ...

A numeric value with no context is just a number ...

Congrats!!!

I've just reported 18 WU's (all >s12_) for only 24 pending credits.
only 1 (s18_) with 0 CPU-time.
(the rest (about 20) are 'big' boince's (5times s4_ !, will take about 12 hours each))
(on 2 hosts with 3 instances)

Heck the workunits went so fast only 2 of my 4 boxes got hooked up with work. Someone said 1500+ to crunch and it must of went in less than an hour.....If I had just left a little later this am.... would have loaded up the other 2 :( funny it was my fastest and slowest machine that got loaded lol
