"9.3.2005 16:30 UTC Bug fixing and testing will continue until next week. In the mean time there will be very little work available." you updated your page with information about well deserved t-shirts and a stop on new donators. the above quoted week is some time behind us. why is there no information for your donators on your progress? we donators donate our cpu time to your project. i understand very well why there are not allways workunits. i don't understand why your information about this is not available. |

No worries. I'm not the LHC Alex. Just a number cruncher like everyone else here. |

There must be a schedule they need to keep that has a lot of "slack" time in it so their urgency in fixing the bugs allows for a measured approach or there are cockroaches in the code. All up we'll get work when we get it and not a minute before :) . Paul (S@H1 8888) ![]() ![]() |

> They're suffering time dilation effects from beng too close to a black hole > generator. No worries. You know, I was worried that something like that would happen from smashing atoms in a particle accelerator.. it's what you get when you try and recreate the conditions of the universe, pre-big-bang. :o) [cackles..] [edit] OMFG!! Despite the (intended) sarcastic tone above, apparently I wasn't too far off. Apparently at the Relativistic Heavy Ion Collider (RHIC) in New York, USA, they *DID* create a tiny Black Hole. What's next, personal time-dialators? [edit2] This is what RHIC had to say... ![]() |

The personal time-dilator seems to have been invented already, look here: http://lhcathome.cern.ch/result.php?resultid=378482 And it seems to affect my computer... Michael Team Linux Users Everywhere ![]() |
