... which forces me to abandon LHC@home until a more stable version is released :(

I use the 4.19 BOINIC client on a 200 MHz Pentium MMX with 192 MB RAM together with SETI@home & Einstein@home.
The other 2 projects have worked perfectly well with this software/hardware configuration until LHC@home got online again.

Does the crash happen when in graphics mode?

Sixtrack v4.64 is available. If you reset the project it should dump your 4.63 work units and then download 4.64.

sixtrack 4.64 crashes my computer too :(

I only have 1 minute of graphics mode until my screensaver goes to blank.
And usually BOINC is activ in the background all the time.
