I was getting an error message concerning a file that wouldn't download. I detached to restart the entire download process, so I need to reattach. How do I get get my account ID when the creation of accounts is temporarily shut down?

Is there a way to get my account ID? BTW, I'm using BOINC version 4.19

You got the correct link to this project and your 32 character account ID sent to you in an email. Just use the same one you used earlier.
i.e. no need to re-register. :)

your user Id number is 5499 it is the same as your account ID.

[edit] Your account Key, is different from your account Id. the key gets you in, the Id is used for signatures and stuff[edit]

go to "Your account" page and logout. now there is a link at "your account" page to get your account id to your e-mail.

v4.19 is OK. Did you detached and attached again? This is what a lot of people did as well as myself.
By doing so, I had first the same problem but it resolved itself after a while.

This happens usually because of busy server. Try again later.
