hello
i have some hardware problems with my host 14796, so i had to change some hardware like ram and hdd. i installed a new OS. now i have a new host 19980. i want merge the 14796 into the 19980, but is can't select a computer to merge with?
the CPU of both host are the same, but the most other hardware is different and the OS is different too.
so my question, do the lot of changes to the computer makes him a new one??

The computers must be identical to merge them. Changing the OS will definately make them unmergable, changing the ram may also.

After all results assigned to the old computer have been deleted from the servers you will be able to delete the computer record. This can take some time though.
