The link to the status pages on the homepage of the LHC@Home project detail what's going on but to sum it up for you: 1) No WUs available yet. 2) Everyone just got back to CERN since they've been closed for the holidays. 3) They're in the process of buying/installing/testing new servers. 4) They're working on a new optical model of the LHC accelerator. 5) Adjust your priority according to how important you feel it is to give anything a priority over another. It's personal preference there. My parents said it best when I was a child on a long road trip: "Sit down, shut up, and we'll get there when we get there." :o) Just have patience with the masterminds behind the project, they'll have it running when it's working to their expectation. > Hi. For those of you still desperate to get work, take a look at this posting and tell me that mid Feb is still too pessimistic! Happy crunching! Giskard - the first telepathic robot. |
