hi together,

It's not easy to wait patiently until the new systems are glued and ready (for public)

It's sunday. It's the pre christmas time. Reasons enough to sit back and reflect about the
slowly shivering out of remembering of LHC work. The beautiful work!

I restarted an old client with work. The work was returned a while ago, will
not resend back to LHC. Just startet the Client for fun and refreshing the remembering.

Ahh the feeling! You can't imagine.

It's a pleasure to share this unique feeling, here are some hardcopies/screenshots:

The sixtrack in action

Fun being user of the day, while the SETI guys have server issues.

And boinc with actual work units.

@richard
believe me or not, the rack assempled in the (small) guest toilets room, is alway suffering of to much temperature, even now in winter, the windows must be open a bit to cool down the room. Not all heat can be reroutet to warm the appartement. My nearly wife loves to sit there, because it's the warmest place we have..

@Alex
Wonderfull, Thankyou, I see U are understanding our/my common suffering.
What is you environment? KDE with wine? Looks great, I'm interessted about,
but I guess, you must have an Einstein in the family to get the things run..

Well the SETI guys are used to have server issues in a regular way

There is a certain risk to come as UOD if you have created a profile.
LHC was sufferung of UOD more than one time.

There is work for everybody...
nothing to say...just admire the nostagica.

Are there more Hardcopies arround?

Please share them here.

I tried out Boinc/LHC on a few old clunker machines just for the sake of testing.
I only did a couple of work units under linux(knoppix) with wine.
The Results validated ok.

Main PC is a WindowsXP box.
The other ones are clunkers which stay off most of the time.
