Hi,

Every time I want to Join to the project on Boinc it says that my login is invalid and:

My login is not invalid because I can see my stadistics!

Project is shut down temporarily. They are testing servers. News is on homepage.

First, I don't see where it says your login is invalid. I suspect that without WUs available, you won't be able to attach a computer to the project. Please be patient.

Second, you seem to already have an account here, or I don't think you would be able to post messages in the fora. Besides, I can see your account page, although it doesn't show any computers for the project. (Please see #1, above.) Once they are through testing the servers, get them back up, and have some work units available, you will probably be able to attach to the project. Again, please be patient.

Third, if you didn't have an account, you wouldn't be able to set one up at this time. Account creation is turned off; the 6000-user limit has been reached (and I doubt any of us has any work). I wouldn't expect to have account creation turned on before the project is back up, and they decide they want more users. I know it's tuff when you want to attach and get work, but can't. We all want work to do. Yet again, please be patient.

You are right, to post a message I need an accound, and I have one.
I have downloaded Boinc (v.4.13) from Seti@home, is the version of LHC Boinc the same?

The version that can be downloaded here is an older one, but anyway crunching WU's for LHC@Home is working fine with the latest one you have downloaded at S@H/Boinc.

I can take a while before LHC is "online" again if you look to the Announcement they made some weeks ago.

As has been said... they are testing new servers and things obviously aren't working right. They have evidently deleted the older news items but the one from 17.11.2004 clearly indicates that things are not working correctly. There is no problem on your end. This is a server-side problem and there is nothing you can do about it. They will get the servers fixed here one of these days and then we can all go back to crunching. Until then I'm going full steam on seti@home/CPDN.

From the time you joined LHC they were wainting for the servers, now they are getting everything ready, just be patient.
