These messages usually indicate a communications error of some kind. The servers at LHC have been down the past few days it may be just that. It may also be a firewall/proxy setting problem.

I think it has to do with "17.11.2004 15:07 UTC
LHC@Home web/file server went unstable.
No data was lost. We are continuing with a single server.
We will keep project down until all data is synchronized"

because there was only running one server , the client couldn't get the right dates ...

Meanwhile I could attach, but now there were no work avaible... (that mean: I have to wait,..)
