I usually just use sourceforge for DL'ing new open source programs, but I just noticed they have other resources,such as a comiple farm, where you can compile and test your software.
So.. if you really want something compiled for your specific OS...

But if you need some stuff for your OS/architecture, and you HAVE that computer, you can also compile if by yourself. This option is meant for developers who do NOT have these computers, in order to support more OS'es/architectures with their program binarily.
