CMS job queue to drain this weekend (21/08/2021)
Oops, I posted this twice to the -dev board, not once there and again here -- sorry!
CMS is about to release a new version of WMAgent based entirely on python 3. They have asked that they be able to update our agent by Monday evening (23/08), so I will not inject any new workflows before the upgrade. I expect the job queue to drain by late on Sunday.
Please set your CMS application to no new tasks by then.
2021 BOINC Workshop
Videos of the talks from the 2021 BOINC Workshop are now available on YouTube. Day 01 includes a talk giving an overview of LHC@home and Day 02 has another talk which provides more details on the specific technology we use. There are many other interesting talks from the other BOINC projects and from the BOINC developers.

Our database cluster is heavily loaded today, and LHC@home services time out from time to time. Our DBA is trying to fix this. Sorry for the trouble and happy crunching.
