As part of the ongoing consolidation effort, the Theory application has been added to the LHC@home project. Therefore, please could everyone switch to that project to run the Theory application. The plan is to stop sending new Theory tasks to this project on Wednesday this week.

Thanks to everyone for their continued contribution.

No, the credit that was generated will be migrated to LHC@home.

Do we need to create new account over on "CERN Single Sign-On"
Are you still under BOINC or move off of BOINC & BAM!?
Thanks

Should we remove this BOINC Project from all our computers and from BAM!?

BTW This is a hard link to fine: https://lhcathome.cern.ch/lhcathome/

Do we have to do anything special for "switching"?

I created a LHC Account with BAM and add it to the hosts where vLHC is attached. Is there a need of connecting the accounts or will they be merged automatically?

Thx for great work and keep it up.

Okay. Dumb question here. On the server status page, the Work section shows 1498 tasks ready to send, but down in the application section, it shows zero tasks unsent for any of the 3 applications. Is there another "hidden" application out there?

I still do not understand: i have an old LHC@home (sixtracks) account. Will it recieve vLHC WU's ? What shall we do ?

Edit: and just 30 secs after posting this i realise i can edit my "old" lhc@home preference to allow the mentioned tasks.

So, with all my vLHC tasks sent back and validated, and no new ones coming, that means I can simply detach now (and continue on LHC)?

Just add this as a new project in your Boinc Manager https://lhcathome.cern.ch/lhcathome/

And then go to your account and set the preferences to do the tasks you want and the other setting we have there (Max Jobs and Max CPU's)

No need, I'm already an LHC@Home member since 18 Sep 2004.

Just wanted to make sure that vLHC is now finished and I can detach without missing anything.

Al LHC, I have selected all applications and also test applications, yet I'm served LHCb tasks, exclusively.
