They might be just running through all the results that weren't returned by users. Hence why some are getting work, while the rest of us aren't.
4) Questions and Answers : Windows : "zero cpu time" bug (Message 6234)
Posted 1 Mar 2005 by KWSN_Dagger
I have pref set to remove from memory (running WinME). It crunchs a WU for an hr, paused that WU to crunch another, then when it comes back to that WU it starts over from zero time and zero progress. Guess a temp fix would be to increase the time per WU up 30 mins to see if will take care of it. It's also mentioned in this thread: http://lhcathome.cern.ch/forum_thread.php?id=1181 (Sorry i don't know how to make that a hyperlink on this board)

Actually i click on the transfers tab, which is usually empty, then minimize. Worst tab to leave it on is the disk tab.
6) Message boards : Number crunching : Odd occurrence (Message 6079)

Sometimes when switching between WU's it will restart at 0%, but after 15 secs it will jump back up to or close to where it was when paused.

With Einstein WU's i'm running 55C or more, SETI is 48C, LHC is about 52C. As for the notebook, have you got any space under it for airflow? Could lay down a couple pencils and set your notebook on top of that.

If it's the same computer, just delete the old host if you can. You'll keep your current cobblestones. I've done this on a couple projects now, and nothing has gone wrong.
10) Message boards : Number crunching : checksum errors (Message 5719)

Doesn't seem to be a problem with the 4.19 clients, after resetting.

[Edit] Although now looking back at my WU list, the LHC WU is still downloading, eventhough everything has finished downloading. Hrmm... [/edit]
