If you want a better response from CERN, you either better know the e-mail of someone who works directly there, or someone in the physical area of the facility who can stop by and ask what's going on.

On the Internet, we're all just too far away from each other, or worse, abstractions without the ability to do anything besides leave text messages in places where they may never even be read by overworked or underfunded staff people.

I really wish this project had more work. The most important and interesting Distributed Computing projects, to me, are those that pertain to Physics, especially Quantum/Elementary Patrticle/High-Energy Physics... and Astrophysics. For Astrophysics, it seems that there is Einstein@Home (has an awesome graphics screen too), and SETI@home (I wish it had a more interesting graphics).

LHC is of great interest to me and I really wish there was a lot more work available for LHC@Home contributors.
