1) Questions and Answers : Windows : CPU does not have hardware virtualization support (Message 48729)

Yes, Teams typically starts on boot and runs in the background as a default. I've turned that off. Its also not running in task manager. But as I was saying, that would only pause WU's, not prevent them from downloading. It would also pause all WU's for all projects, and all other projects work fine. I also set it to "run always" so that and other preferences are ignored anyway. So its not the Teams rule.

Teams is Microsoft Teams. It's like Skype/Zoom. It does not run at boot and does not run in the background. Besides, that would stop WU's from processing, not prevent WUs from being downloaded. Nor does it explain the "CPU does not have hardware virtualization support" notation. It's something else and I have no idea what.

SVM is enabled in BIOS. Also, VM does work, and CPU-V gives me two green checks. As for Teams, its installed, but it's not running. If I did, it simply wouldn't run any WU, and other WU's work fine. LHC is the only problem.

Before you say anything, yes, I know this has been posted a thousand times. But I recently built a new computer and upgraded to Windows 11. I have gone through the checklist, numerous times, and I'm quite frustrated and getting to the point of giving up. Hyper -V and anything else VM related in windows is off and uninstalled. Core isolation is off. No WSL's. SVM is enabled in BIOS. CPU-V gives me two green checks. Virtubox appears to work. Computer hardware is current.

Yet, it says "CPU does not have hardware virtualization support". Event log simply states "No Tasks Sent". The computer page also says it completed a task, but it never has, and the date is wrong. Startup event log is:

LHC seems to have combined my pre-build rig (Win10 FX8350) with my new rig. Can they be unmerged? Any idea what's going on here in general? Would this update on the LHC page if I did get it right, or do I need to start over?

Thanks!

Sorry, I'm not following. I didn't think 6.0.14 was that old. Is 6.1.12 going to make that much of a difference? I'm also fine with any work you have for us. Still getting nothing, and no message why. Just "No Tasks Sent". Has my computer been blackballed or something? Kind of stumped, and I'm back on a Windows platform, so I can't run my normal project. Would like to be able to do some work.

Got the same problem. I both reset and detached from the project. Neither worked. Obviously a delay of 6 seconds is not right either. Kind of at a loss here.
