I see the suggestion to run a script periodically, but I'd rather apply a solution that fixes the issue permanently rather than running a recursive fix
3) Message boards : Number crunching : "Virtualbox Wrapper has stopped working" (Message 32057) Posted 23 Aug 2017 by David Post: Have been running LHC successfully for the past 3-4 weeks, but the past ~10 or so days, I've been plagued by critical virtual box errors. I usually wake up to between 2-5 errors (8 threads), so most projects error out before finishing. I've tried both repairing and uninstall/reinstalling BOINC + Vbox and have tested at least one alternate version of virtual box. Left for about 90 minutes just now and came back to 6 errors, so I'm ready to figure this out or find a new project. Did my best to search through forum posts, but didn't find anything that seemed similar. Stumped, so I'm posting the tasks below. There are plenty more on that host; I'm not sure much if anything is making it through without erroring out.
